Finalist, The 4th Bin International Competition

Primary concept of new electronic waste bin is detaching function as a sign from the function as a collection to emphasize on each role. While existing garbage bin does not have to be noticeable, the new bin plays a role as a sign to help people recognizing electronics waste recycling program. Also, because of its weight and size, electronic waste is not easy to handle after collection. The main box is designed for carrying as well as collecting. Once filled, the box can be disconnected from the sign pole and carried to disposal site. Bin is recharged by another empty bin. All separation happens in disposal site.
